Learning to Trust God… Like a Guinea Pig?

 Have you ever owned a guinea pig? Or even just watched one closely? I used to have one.      Guinea pigs are adorable little creatures, but they’re also quite nervous by nature. When you first bring one home, it runs away, hides in corners, and won’t come near you. It doesn’t trust you—not yet. But as days go by, you keep feeding it. You speak gently. You hold it with care. Slowly, it starts to recognize you. Then one day, it does something amazing—it lets you hold it without fear. That’s trust .  What This Teaches Us About God      Our relationship with God often begins with fear or hesitation. We keep our distance. We hide behind busy routines, doubts, or past wounds. We don’t understand what He’s doing. Sometimes we even wonder, “Is it safe to trust Him?” But He keeps showing up.  He feeds our soul with grace. He speaks gently through His Word.            Testimony of a Student Canvasser             I’m truly grateful that God gave me the opportunity to join the canvassing program during this summer break. We began our mission in early May in Bogor, and by early June, we continued canvassing in Bandung because the books we previously brought had all been sold out.           There are countless ways God showed His goodness throughout this journey—far too many to share them all.
